1 Timothy 2

 1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for   ALL MEN;

 2 For kings, and for ALL that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

Widowmite Fellowship Testimony

Dear Friends,

When I first heard that scripture of the widows mite, as a new Christian, in 1976, I never thought I would one day be in that position. But here I am almost 70 and a widow for almost 25 years, eking by on just over $1,200 / month. I just moved  back to Jasper County after a 21 yr. absence, because the Lord said “its time to go back home”.  I fought it for several months and still do not know why I was to be here.  I am not permitted to operate in the ministry God called me to 28 yrs. ago, I don’t own a home, have little of anything materially but am very sure I am where He has put me.   I first heard Homeward Bound, at Attica, when I was here for my 50th H.S. Reunion, 2 yrs. ago.  I enjoy good Gospel music with a message, meaning, and is uplifting and brings God glory.  Homeward Bound does that very well. I am so glad to be a part of your Widowmite Fellowship.  This I can do, without leaving a bill unpaid.  Thank you for this.   I look forward to your ministry again, closer to home, I hope.

 Sincerely in Christ,

Doris E. Schwanke
