PRAYER REQUESTS

Homeward Bound has Committed to go with our producer and friend JD Miller and the Americana Music Group to share the Powerful Gospel of Jesus Christ on at least two mission trips during the coming year of 2010. We are disappointed that we were unable to go back to China with them this October 12th thru the 27th, but the Lord goes before each of us and leads us in the path he wants us to walk in. Darrell has had some physical issues and has been in the hospital recently, but is doing great now. It has become obvious why The Lord didn't allow us to go at this particular time. Thank you for always remembering us in your prayers.

        JD is working on a trip to AFRICA in the Spring of 2010 and to INDIA & CHINA in the month of October of 2010. JD. shared with us that in 1974, He was part of a team to India that Baptized over 6,000 new believers into Christ. Yes! That's right, over Six Thousand New Converts!

        We are asking you to place our ministry on your Christmas List this Year so that when the dates are finalized we are ready to Go. Your Heart for the Lord will be the difference in allowing Us to be "Your Hands In The World." Your Prayerful consideration to financially join us in this Mission Outreach is Joyfully appreciated. A TREASURE FROM ROGER

Roger had written my mother to tell her he appreciated her prayers and concern for him.

 

Saturday morning, March 17, 2007 at 8:00 am, our beloved Roger Bennett completed his earthly journey and went to be with Jesus. His devoted wife Debbie was by his side and she assures us that his passing was very peaceful. We want to thank all of you for your prayers and concern throughout Roger's battle with leukemia over the past several years. Please continue to lift up the family over these next few days. Visitation will be held at Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, TN on Tuesday evening, March 20 from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral services will also be held there on Wednesday afternoon, March 21, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gospel Music Trust Fund, P.O. Box 144, Goodlettsville, TN 37070 "in memory of Roger Bennett"... the family will receive a list of your contributions from the trust fund.
